Hi Anthony, One other piece of advice for email groups is this: if you ask a question and several people answer and help you out, don’t send 2 or 3 or however many messages with “Thanks, Tom” or “Alan, thanks for helping me with this” etc. I know you probably learned that saying thank you is polite, but imagine on a relatively high volume list like Viphone how many thank you messages there would be if everybody thanked everybody else for answering a question. If you really want to thank somebody find their email address in the email header and reply to them rivately and hopefully a few others who read this will take it to heart since lately these polite thank you messages crop up a lot. Maybe Mark can also support me in this as the moderator so that you guys don’t think I am making this up.
