Carolyn, just keep in mind when the lid is down it will be a bit thicker,and you don't have to remove the lid unless you want too. It's kind of nicewithout the lid being on. We still have 2 of the black web keyboards, thatstill have the lid on, and one of those is mine, and the third of this samekind of keyboard that has the lid off. Andy, you can tell the keys on this keyboard. You could feel the inditationsbetween the keys, which is a bit smaller and narrower inditation than on ourcomputer keyboards which I've noticed since I'm typing on my computer'skeyboard now. So you could easily tell the letters apart on this black webbbluetooth keyboard, the inditations between the keys are just a bit smallerand narrower and closer compared to the inditations and separate ness of thekeys on our computer keyboards and the f and j keys are clearly marked andeasy to feel and locate. What you made me think of, is you know how on someof the button phones you almost can't tell the difference between the keyson the number pad, due to the inditations between the keys being reallyfaint? This keyboard's inditation isn't faint like that, you would be ableto feel the inditation that separateness of the keys. This keyboard has ahinged cover/lid, that when open you could place an ipad mini in the lid ,in fact it has a round cut out for the camera, headphones, power, up downvolume and speaker. These cut outs are very neat and non intrusive. We havemore than one of these keyboards, and as we did with one of them, if youdidn't want the lid on there with a tiny screw driver you could remove the2 tiny screws and the lid will come off. Actually we have more than one ofthese keyboards, we have one of these keyboards with the lid on and theother one with the lid off, and we like to use them either way. Placing theipad in the cover doesn't seem that sturdy even though this keyboard wasdesigned to use with an ipad. The nice thing about having the ipad in thelid is that you can fold it all up together. We're writing this messagetogether. Wayne was thinking about figuring out some ways to have the ipadplaced in the lid to be more secure than it seems to be. If you were reallycareful and you were using an ipad in the lid it would probably be fine. Ofcourse this will work with an ipad without placing it in the lid.In spite ofthat we really like using our se phones with this keyboard. When thekeyboard is open, it's pretty think but really sturdy, the thickness is likethe thickness of holding 2 pocket slates pus half the thickness of a 3rdslate so in other words the thickness of the keyboard is just a little lessthan the thickness of 3 slates held together. The keyboard is so sturdy,either a thick book board or board slate kind of sturdy, as in even a thickpiece of wood. It's so strong for something this thin it won't budge aroundas you're typing. No flimsiness here. If you have any other questions justask.

Arlene, thanks much. When we looked at WalMart out here, they didn't haveany in stock that we could find. We ended up ordering the Logitech K380Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard from Amazon for $27 with Prime.

Travis, one of the bluetooth keyboards we have is the black webb keyboard.It says it was made for the ipad, but we use it with our se iphones, andit's really great to use with our phones, and you could buy it at Walmartfor $20. It's a very sturdy feeling keyboard, and we both enjoy typing onit.
