Earpods is simply what Apple calls their wired headset which comes with every iPhone. Airpods are the same thing but wireless/bluetooth and while good they are very expensive. Earbuds is simply a generic name for anything that sticks inside yoru ears, Apple's Earpods and Airpods are earbud style headsets. Earphones again is just a general name for headphones, I personally usually use headphones for those that go over your head and earbuds for those that go inside your ear. For me Apple's wired Earpods are just about the best deal on the market when it comes to sound quality and price. I understand a few people say they don't fit them well and that is a different issue, but they fit me just fine and I have to shake my head like a dog to dislodge them. I like the fact that they only go in the outer ear and don't stick deep into the ear which I also don't like, this way they block out a minimum of external sound. I have a pair of higher end stereo headphones from VMota which I sometimes use for music listening, they fully enclose the ear and are bulky and relatively heavy, but they do sound very nice, of course I would not use them outside since they really blockout a lot fo external sounds.
