Hi,

yes, I have already tried that, too no avail.  I have spoken to Apple accessability who were very helpful.  It looks like a reset first and if that doesn't fix it then a full restore which is a bit of a pain!

thanks

Gary

Try a three finger double tap.

This turns speech on/off but leaves Voiceover running.

You can use Voiceover with Braille without speech.

Hi,
if we use SIRI it says voiceover on within settings/accessibility with no
speech it says nothing. I should add we do hear the usual swipe noises etc.

If we use SIRI a second time it says Voiceover is already on.
Is there anything that could be muting Voiceover but not anything else? Music
plays and the Phone rings and SIRI works so I am a bit stuck as to what is
going on!

Hi,

Does it say VoiceOver on, VoiceOver off? or VoiceOver on, Speech off?

Thanks.

Hello,

For some reason Voiceover on my wife's Iphone 6 running the latest IOS has
stopped talking.

With the help of a sighted friend we checked all the usual settings and found
that when we turned Voiceover back on in settings/accessability... it just
flipped back off again.

My thought was that Voiceover was crashing for some reason so we check the free
space on the phone which was 1.27GB, surely enough to run Voiceover?

Has anyone come across this before and know of a quick fix before I go to Apple
support who I expect will tell me to restore the phone.

Thanks

Gary
