Have you tried Apple Music? I don’t’ use it, but they might have a well labelled collection.
I’ve not run across any specifically classical music services with that kind of search capacity. As a serious listener to classical music for sixty-five years, I am looking for the best selection of classical music on a music service that offers an iOs app. Last time I did a serious check of services, Tidal was the leader in terms of number and range of selections and also in terms of granular search capability. I found that music services fell down in the areas of proper labeling of artists, opus numbers, recording dates, and so on. It would be wonderful, for instance, to find a service that would allow me to search for and listen to a particular Ba- prelude and fugue after searching for it by BWV catalogue listing. Does anyone have recommendations for such a service? Has anyone tried Primephonic, either using the app or the PC version? Thanks for all help.
