I'm not sure either. I will say that I do not use a passcode or touch ID if that makes a difference. So, if it keeps this up, I want to turn off group messaging and I'm not finding out where or how to do this.
Would you recommend I try a passcode to see if that makes a difference or can you tell me how to turn off group messaging? I found nowhere in the messaging or notification setting to do it. Thanks. If I have a number of messages say from my Ring video doorbell, a few more from my Schlage smart doorlock, a couple from the CBC News app and some more from Facebook I can swipe through all of these groups and double tap on any one to expand it and see all the notifications init. This means if several grouped messages come in, all the previous one disappears and only the most recent ones go away and I am never sure if there are more without going into notifications and looking there. If I unlock my screen, even the last one disappears. What's happening is that your notifications are being grouped. To see all notifications that are grouped, double tap on one and you'll see them all. HTH. Before, if I received an alert or more than one message, they didn't disappear off the locked screen until I made them go away. Now only one at a time shows up and I am missing messages when I don't hear them come in and another comes in after it, as well as any alerts. They will show up in the notification center, but I don't want to keep having to check there to see if I have missed something. Thanks.
