You could go back to a previous update such as 11.41, but you only have a certain window to do it in, which in this case is past. I think you only have a few days after you update to the current version to go back down. If it did matter it would be good to keep in mind, maybe even with updating to a newer version on either the phone of the computer. So the question, do you think it could cause problems if you're 2 or 3 versions behind, being on your favorite update, not really wanting to upgrade to keep for a while what you have? If you're in that situation, where the phone is concerned would it be better to go up one version at a time, if it was possible? I'm thinking that it wouldn't be possible but I could be wrong, but it seems to me once there's a current upgrade as in ios 12, one couldn't update to 11.4 if they were on the previous version before, since as far as what I know you wouldn't have access to that previous version, unless there's some place to find those previous versions. With my limited knowledge that's something I don't know about, so thanks for the answer to that from you experts. and as far as how it is on the 2 out of the 3 iphone se phones we have it does seem to be working well. We'll probably update the third one pretty soon. while it's such a minor thing, we love checking the time on that phone with touching the home button, but that's such a minor thing. It's funny the things we get so use too. touching the power button is just as simple. As for the issue described by Kim and Denise I would agree, first I would ask when they upgraded, if it was just recently then I would ask whether they closed all apps in the app switcher before upgrading and rebooted the phone. I would also ask if they rebooted the phones after upgrading and possibly suggest a reset network settings first. This may or may not help, but all it involved is having to reenter your WiFi password and renaming the phone to what you want it to be in Settings > General > About, so all in all it’s a pretty easy process and if it fixes the issue then it would save them a lot of time. If it doesn’t help then yes, do a backup and restore the phone, set it up as a new device first and make sure all is well, then restore your backup a day or two later. If the problems return then you know that the backup also restored the problems which sometimes can happen and the only way then is to restore again, set up as a new phone and manually put everything back the way you like. This was one of the bad things that happened to me on my phone before doing a total reset: DFU Mode. I don't mean with this, that everything is the same as what happened to me on your phone. And even less that you have to do what I had to do... But if you keep having problems, the best way to solve them is just what I did... Now everything works normally and I'm happy with my phone as it was in IOS 10. cheers. I don't mean that the phone completely freezes but rather the screen becomes unresponsive and the only way to regain any activity is to remove the app from the app switcher and relaunch. This has happened to me in the native mail app and the Bard app. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Any ideas for what to do about it? It's not constant but occurs often enough to be annoying. Thanks for your thoughts.
