Thanks all. That delete process is not intuitive. Like someone described, I had to double tap the delete button at the top, then flick left from the title to the delete book button, After double tapping that, I had to again go to the title and now flick twice to the left to get to a second delete button to double tap. It must be some sort of confirmation button, but the labelling makes it seem redundant. Just wish I could flick up or down to get to a delete option. Oh well. Thanks for helping me get my device library cleaned up!

After you get the Delete this item showing up in the app, you double tap it. This action moves you down to the book title. You then have to move back up to the Delete this book and click again to actually delete the book. I hope this makes sense!
