Yes but you can only see your steps using the app on your IPhone.
I would like to see my steps on my watch. My friend has a Fitbit and her watch vibrates everytime she has completed say 500 steps. It is an app made by Apple and is tied to your activity rings and workouts. On top of having this information, it also has the number of steps you have done. You can look at this information by day, month, and maybe even year. I just usually look at mine by day.
