When Fleksy first came out Kosta was part of the development team and it started out just as Flicktype as a Voiceover keyboard. However, over time it changed a lot, I think first it was a paid app for $14.99 or something like that, then later they dropped the price to $4.99 and eventually (and today) it's free. This of course upset a lot of people since in the blind community it appears that many don't understand simple economics and marketing, i.e. things change, prices change and that is just how it is. If you buy an Instant Pot for $149 at Best Buy and then a few weeks later the item goes on sale for $99 and a week later it again goes up to $149 then that is how it is. Anyhow, Fleksy is still around, it has all sorts of fancy features and essentially it works similarly to Flicktype in terms of predicting what you want to type by the pattern, but it's not nearly as accessible and easy to use any more as Flicktype is.
