Same as a phone call. If I put the phone to my ear or cover the top of the
phone with my hand and then take it away it automatically switches to
speakerphone. I can also find the "Speaker" button and tap it if that doesn't
work, if the keyboard comes up you may have to hide it just as on a phone call.
I should say that I have simple voice mail, not visual voice mail. I am quite
sure, however, that with visual voice mail there is a button to switch it to
speakerphone as well if you can't get it to auto-switch, but try to cover the
top of the phone where the earpiece is with your hand for a second or two and
then take it away to see if that switches it.
.

Subject: Playing voice mail through speaker phone

Good day, folks.

I am not remembering the trick to play voice mail through the speaker phone on
the iPhone.

Sometimes I have trouble hearing the voice mail through the normal earpiece and
don’t want to plug in ear buds. I also have another totally blind friend who
would benefit from playing voice mails through the speaker as he has a bit of a
hearing impairment.
