I did that too. Finally, I went in again, tried rotor again, some way found Done. I double tapped. The only thing I can think of is that I was editing a phone number right before supper, got interrupted, thought I hit Done after the edit. I checked back, and the edited number is there, so that's a good thing. I am thinking that I must have thought I pressed Done and actually did not with a lot of distractions. For one thing, my husband wanted to do the edit, but for some reason, couldn't manage it, but I did. It is a third number - home, work, and iPhone. So, thanks for suggestion. I am a big one on closing aps, and especially if something seems out of sync.
