Hi Bill, This is what I do to resume a program.
Open the app. Then use 3-finger swipe to get to page 7. At the bottom of the page are the programs you have started watching. Tap on the one you want. You should then see a resume button somewhere around the middle of the screen. Yours might not be on page 7, but I’m thinking your programs will always be at the bottom of the last page. Good luck.
