After searching for digital, app accessible scales on Amazon I found a number of said ranging from $22 to as much as $195. Can anybody explain the vast range in price?

I certainly do not want to pay more than necessary for a reasonably accurate scale and would like to have a preponderantly accessible iOS app to interface to that scale.
