Hello again Sieghard, I am almost too embarrassed to post this message, however transparency prevails.
The problem is resolved and must be attributed to operator error. Each of the two keyboards has a two position on/off switch. On one, the on position is to the right, and the other is on the left. Guess what! I had them reversed.
