Mine's on order, but not available before April. 64G and silver is good enough. This is uK, same amount in £ as $s.

I'm very tempted to get the 256 gb version. I listen to a lot of old time radio and it takes up a lot of space. I'm wondering if the current otterbox defender case for the ipad mini 4 will work with the new ipad mini 4? -----Original Message----- From: Mary Otten Sent: Monday, March 18, 2019 5:48 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com ; macvisionar...@googlegroups.com Subject: iPad mini, are you going to buy one? Hi folks, I found today’s announcement of a new iPad mini interesting. I had a really old one, which was painfully slow. And when they made iOS 12, I was surprised that my old iPad mini was eligible for the upgrade. Well iOS 12 did slightly seem to improve the performance of that tablet, what drove me crazy was the introduction of the new jesters where you can slide up from the bottom to get the app switcher or the home screen. Since the iPad had the home button, I thought introducing those jesters to my old iPad was a bad idea. And they didn’t do it with the phone, my iPhone 7 is still blessedly free of those gestures which it does not need. Introduction of those jesters was the straw that broke the camels back. My iPad mini is now gone. I don’t know if having a faster processor would make it more responsive or whatever. I like the form factor. But the iPad has big vessels, and when you get your finger in the area where those jesters take effect, whether it’s the top or the bottom, it’s kind of an issue, at least it was for me. So I’m wondering if folks currently using iPads are having the same issue I did with moving your finger around the screen being interfered with by the presence of these gestures. And who plans to buy an iPad mini? Why or why not? Sent from my iPhone -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
