Thanks!

I don’t have 3D touch so like you said; perhaps double tapping and holding may
perform the same function!

Hi Debbie,

To use Live Listen, you have to add it to Control Center. Open Control Center
settings, and choose Customize Controls. Find a control called Insert Hearing,
and double-tap to add it to the items in Control Center. You can reorder these
items if you like.

Now to use Live Listen, open Control Center while you are wearing your AirPods,
and choose Hearing Devices. VoiceOver will tell you that your AirPods are
connected and their battery level. Live Listen will be off. Double-tap it to
turn it on. I had to 3D touch Hearing Devices to get Live Listen to turn on.
Double-tapping and holding it might have the same effect.

Once it's on, sound from the AirPods' mics is sent through the AirPods.

HTH,

Anna

Hi,

Is there somewhere on the iPhone that I can go to make any setting changes to
the Apple AirPods? I’m running an IPhone 5S.

Also, I had read somewhere that people who are hard of hearing can use a Live
Listen feature of the AirpPods along with a microphone to hear others speaking
in the room. Does anyone know anything about that?

Thanks!

Debbie
