Mine just gives a signal. I go into it for the reminder and to delete it.

Best regards,

Carolyn

Hello Ann,

I love, love, love the native iOS reminders app. In fact, I don't think I
could get through my week without it.

As for having the text of the reminder read out loud? I believe this has to do
with a VoiceOver setting.

As for me, I would never want VoiceOver to automatically read the text of a
reminder. Instead, I have my reminders set to display a persistent banner
across the screen which, forces me to interact with it.

Explore the Reminders notification settings and see what happens.

Mark

I can't for the life of me get reminders to remind. My friend can tell Siri
"create a reminder in 3 minutes to walk the dog", and in three minutes the
dinger dings and the phone says to walk the dog. With me, nada.

I have tried with Siri, without Siri. I have examined the settings for
reminders and notifications and everything looks right. Is there a hidden
command I need to find somewhere and check or uncheck?

thanks,
Ann
