The volume will never be loud enough when walking in noisy traffic. That is the only downside to having your ears uncovered, which of course, is also the upside to using bone conduction. If you need the gps info while in noisy areas, there really isn't a good solution. If you just want info while hearing your surroundings they are fine. I will say as someone who has not been able to where the previous Aftershokz, I had an opportunity to try the Trex titanium the other day and they are more comfortable by far. Richard
