I'm not sure how I feel about getting a discount from Apple just for using Voiceover. Yes, it would be nice to knock a little off the price. However, by using VoiceOver or other accessibility tools, we are able to use the same devices the general public can use. But, with the discount, it seems as though we are saying, "No, we're special, we need this discount to set ourselves apart from the rest." Doesn't that go against the grain of the empowerment and message of equal access? Perhaps I'm reading this wrong.
