Hello Sieghard and list Sorry for the wrong subject. I meant to say "latest iPad model" but fortunately you grasped from the body of the message that I was referring to iPad and not iPhone. I guess I am getting old now and it should teach me to reread my subjects and messages. I have not told the whole story. The friend actually wanted to buy a new iPod but because size is not a problem for him I suggested that he rather looks at the iPad because, as I understand, The new IOS for iPad would allow for connecting external devices and all kinds of other features. And also because the price difference between the new iPod and iPad mini 5 is not that much. What do listers think: am I giving bad advice? Regards Fanus

If your friend really needs and wants an iPad Mini now the 5th Generation certainly is a pretty good choice, it does have the latest A12 Bionic processor and you can get it either with 64Gb or 256Gb capacity and with or without cellular modem. If he wants cheap then the 64Gb Wi-Fi only option is the way to go, if he can afford it I would recommend he for sure gets the 256Gb storage size and whether he needs cellular connectivity or not he would need to decide.
