I'm not Russ, but Voice Dream Reader reads epub files perfectly. I'm not sure what you mean about an ePub app? As for his use of iTunes, Russ has far more patience than I and uses the feature in iTunes to share files onto his device for Voice Dream Reader. I find it easier to put them on Dropbox, or OneDrive and add them into Voice Dream from there. HTH,
