Once Voice Control is turned on under Voice Control settings, you just talk. Be aware that it is constantly listening; so if you are in an edit box, anything it hears will be dictated. Yes, it is a battery hog since, again, it is always monitoring the microphone. I have set my phone up with Voice Control in the accessibility shortcut so I can triple tap home to turn it on. I use Siri to turn on VoiceOver. Again, if Voice Control is on, you do not have to touch the phone, just issue your command. Given that the commands are 9 pages long in a word document, er is a bit of a learning curve. If you want the word document, it is on my web page: www.turner42.com
