Thanks Carolyn, I will tell her that.
But, just wondering, why does turning on Bluetooth change the volume of a call?
Thanks again.
Evan

Tell your friend to turn on Bluetooth. Your friend can ask Siri to turn it on, then off, but that eliminates the problem. Also, a headset does, but Bluetooth is right in the phone - say to Siri, turn on Bluetooth; when through, say to Siri tyrn off Bluetooth. No problem at all.

Best regards,

Carolyn

Subject: How to Fix Call Volume Obscuring VoiceOver on iPhone 7

Hey Guys,
I don’t own an iPhone myself, I have an iPad Mini 4, so I have not encountered this problem personally. I’m asking for a friend of mine. She is pretty new to the iPhone and got an iPhone 7. She says that one frustration she is having is that when she calls a number and is prompted to enter numbers on the keypad with an automated system, she can’t hear what Voiceover is saying because the call audio is too loud. Can anyone advise me on what to tell her as to how to bring down the call volume or bring up the Voiceover volume so she can hear what she is entering on the screen?
Thanks a bunch.
Evan
