I have tried it and it sort of works, but you have to touch your phone in regular intervals and it then reads you the current line or whatever of the song, Voiceover does not automatically read out the text while the song is playing. I have no idea how it would work with a braille display, but I have a feeling it may work very well since the text does change as the song plays.
