It will be a long time before battery technology is advanced enough to offer 8 or 10 hours in such a tiny design. Maybe they could design a hat with solar panels which wirelessly charges your Airpods while they are in your ear. If you live in a place with little sunshine that of course wouldn’t do you much good. Oh, wait, they still have to invent it.
