After going to the App Store, swipe right until you hear “My Account”, double tap, then touch the screen a little above the home button and you’ll find your updates including an update all button.

On my old 5S which was still running IOS 12 something, I could update apps by going to the app store, selecting the update tab at the bottom then selecting update all. Now I go to the app store & there is no update tab at the bottom. The tabs are Today, Games, Apps, Arcade & search. I looked around in the Apps, Search & Today tabs but found no way to do updates.
