Hi Arnold,

Yes, you can have two apps on an iPad screen. The second app you want to open 
needs to be in the dock. when the first one is open, touch near the bottom of 
the iPad screen and slide your finger up until you hear a click. Then slide it 
back down and then lift your finger. When you find the app on the dock that you 
want to open, flick up or down. You have the option to open the second app in 
split view or slide over. With split view, each app takes up part of the 
screen. with slide over, the second app floats on top of the first. I find 
split view more reliable. There's a line between the two apps. You can flick up 
and down for options to control how much of the screen each one takes.
