Carolyn, if you need help learning the bard mobile app, just let me know, and I can walk you through it. I use it all the time. One thing you can also do, is to upload a bard book to dropbox then import it into the bard mobile app. I do this when I've got a book already downloaded in my massive 2 terabyte bard collection and I want to read it on my iPhone. The app is really very simple to use.
