Virus concerns aside, used headphones are often very steeply discounted.
Also, various retailers often sell out remainders at very low prices (like
when I procured a couple of pair of those Andrea headsets for $20/ea). But
then I'm a bit of a headphone collector/hoarder. I've even got vintage
1970's electrostatic koss (require about 50watts/channel to drive) and
similar vintage sennheiser open air/foam headsets.

Now that the majority of users have moved on to bluetooth, the used wired
marketplace is very depressed. Of course, with pandemic plan on some UV
sterialization (perhaps a week or so in bright sunlight, at a minimum).
