Pablo,

I have 3 of the Radio Thermostats and they work great. The thermostats have
a WiFi module which means they can connect to your WiFi network at home. As
soon as they are connected and you also signed up for an account at
www.RadioThermostat.com the thermostats can be controlled from your iPhone
from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet access and of course
your router/WiFi at home has to be up and running. I could sit on the beach
in Maui and as long as I had a data connection I could open the app and see
what temperature it is in my house, I could increase or decrease the
temperature etc.. I live in northern BC and it doesn't get hot enough for
long enough to worry about air conditioning, but the thermostat can control
heating as well as cooling. If you search the archives for "thermostat" you
should find quite a few messages from myself as well as a few others
regarding this. You can order the thermostats directly from
www.RadioThermostat.com, but I also know a few people in the States said
they found them at Home Depot for $99 which is less than if you buy them
online. Amazon also has them, just look for "Radio Thermostat" and you can
find the app by searching for the same, the app is pretty much fully
accessible and relatively easy to use. The model I have I think is called
CT30. You would of course have to get these installed by a professional
installer and if you are renting I guess you may have to check with your
landlord.

Regards,
Sieghard

It sound very interesting, even though I don't know if my phone connect via
wifi to the termostate, or I need to use the router at home? I have seen
something about wifi on internet, but I don't understand how a phone can
control via wifi a device using the wifi connection, if I use a router at
home.
Thanks, I think that I should to read so much about it.
Thanks again.
Pablo
