you should be good. I know when I knocked my phone off the counter into the sink while the water was running I removed it right away and dried the screen off. luckily my phone had a screen protector on it. It seems fine after a few months since that incident happened. I took of the screen protector and case and shook the phone just to make sure all the water had come out. the speaker sounded funny for a few hours but they went back to normal.
