I found it. It was in Accessibility under keyboards and under soft software keyboards I had to turn off something that has to do with lowercase letters. But thank you so much Richard for trying to find that for me. some days ago the first thing I foundwas the setting area that you mentioned in this most recent post of yours. And that didn't seem to be the culprit. All is well now.
