I just downloaded it and have both Start/Stop and Loud Start/Stop sounds on, and when I hit the go button, it makes the sound. Are you sure your mute switch isn’t on? This would have helped someone looking for a way to count seconds I think. I wonder if one sound is for starting and one for stopping? If both are selected, I get a single beep, then a double beep… Interesting app. Could be very useful. I think I might pay the 99¢ To get rid of the ads, whether I use it a lot or not. It's turned on in Siri suggestions, but it doesn't show in Notifications at all.
