Think that is more less what I'll do Sieghart.  I would rather look after it 
now but trying to do this via email will be too time consuming so I'll wait and 
hope the phone centre opens soon.

Re the actual app, my player tab went away for weeks but then returned so you 
may be right, a reinstall is probably a good idea just to make sure it is all 
running properly.  According to the info I do have the most recent version.  As 
far as the differences noted I wondered if the app might be related to the 
websites?  Audible.ca and audible.com are separate (and if you've ever tried 
getting a book transferred from one to another then you know they make a big 
deal of that separateness!) so I thought maybe the apps were connected to the 
respective websites.  Just an idea..

Thanks to everyone who contributed, on the upside least I know now it isn't 
something simple I just wasn't doing!
