I can't download the podcast anymore because it isn't available to download on the computer, only on the phone and in a weird format, one that can't be converted.

This will create a video file, you could afterwards convert it to MP3 using one of the many online converters and, if you wish, use a program like Goldwave to edit out the initial part where Voiceover is speaking. Now, having said all this, it would be a pretty complicated and time consuming way to record a Podcast which already exists online in some audio format, most likely MP3.
