There was a YouTube update on May 31 which fixed the time issue you described when playing videos. This was the issue with moving backward when playing a video. Your results may vary, but I have found that I'm able to move forward and backward once again. If you are still experiencing problems, I'd suggest you send YouTube feedback through the app. I think you go to your account and there may be a send feedback option there. I haven't done this before, but that's what I recall others on list saying. If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me, :)
