Hi, I am hearing impaired my self and i know how that feels especially when i didn’t have hearing aids. the only app that worked really good for me was hear boost. You can connect headphones to the iPhone/Ipad. There also another app called mobile ears witch is free. All i have to do is plug in a pair of head phones and i am good to go .I hope this helps you.
