I have not tried making a playlist because I have never wanted to. I don’t have a smart speaker so I usually do not listen to iPhone music at home. The subway trip to downtown is just 20 minutes and most flights are a couple of hours. I am happy listening to an album. Honestly, it gets a little weird listening to an artist at different ends of their career. The 1963 bob Dylan is different from the 1973 bob Dylan. Similarly, I don’t like the early Grateful Dead albums. The same is true for Miles Davis first albums. I am told I am the only or one of the few with Beats over the ear headphones on during a cross country airplane ride.
