Donna,

As Chris pointed out, the fifth gen iPod Touch have SIRI.

Also just as the fourth Gen it has a built-in microphone.

If you want to use SIRI for dictation or voice commands, do voice memos or
use Skype or Facebook you have 3 options:

1. Use the built-in microphone which will work fine, but especially
for longer Skype calls I prefer to use a headset as it is much more
comfortable than holding the thing up to my ear and when I have it in a
pocket or a case on my belt and listen with the headset to a book or music I
want a headset with microphone so I can use SIRI without having to pull it
out to talk to it.

2. If you already own a headset with microphone maybe because you also
have an iPhone you can use it.

3. You can fork over $30 to Apple and buy one of their earpods with
microphone.

Regards,

Sieghard
