Have you checked under the VoiceOver settings, Audio, and automatic speaker in
calls? When that is on, if the phone is moved away from your head, it goes to
the speaker. If¥ turn that off, does that solve x?Is this the SE 2020, or the
first generation SE?

others, I’ve never once regretted extending it.)" - Edward Herbert

Sense we are talking a lot about the SE second generation or, the 2020 I
have a question. My SE has a problem in that when I am on a call the screen
locks out and the phone reverts
to the speaker weather the phone is on my ear or not. If you have the volume of
the speaker phone set high this can be pretty painful. This seems to be
a bug as I have found no setting to fix it. I hope it is not a hard ware issue
so it can be fixed with software. It seems to me that the phone app lets
the screen time out while on a call and locks the user out. This would not be a
problem but for the loud burst of sounds when it locks to the speaker in
your ear.

I feel we need a discussion on this so we can see if all phones are affected
and if the problem can be fixed
