Today’s event focused on the Watch Series 6 running Watch OS7 with a new blood oxygen censor, new sleep app, Family setup so each family member has their own phone number on the watch so everyone doesn’t need their own phone, and an always on altimeter. The Family Setup with the phone numbers requires the cellular model. Starting price $399 probably for Wi-Fi… available Friday, September 18th, orderable today. Also, the lower cost Watch SE that has many of the new features of the Series 6, but not the blood oxygen censor, starts at $279. Also available Friday the 18th. New iPad 8th generation and a new iPad Air both running iPad OS14. iPads won’t be available until next month. All the operating systems, iOS 14, iPad OS 14, and TV OS 14 will be released tomorrow, the 16th. No mention at all about a new phone.
