Kevin, In your mail account settings, You should be asked for the outgoing smtp (sending) address, You should find this able to be clicked / tapped on, Single finger double tap.
Under that you should have different settings relating to SMTP Port numbers or ssl / TLS related settings, Hope this helps and you I would think need to have a username and password for outgoing mail, This makes it along with the port etc secure out going mail and should work for you where ever you are.
