I use Direct Touch when playing the accessible game Crafting Kingdom. In iOS 13 and earlier, VoiceOver usually automatically set Direct Touch when I opened the app. So far, in iOS 14 I have had to turn the rotor to Direct Touch and then swipe down to turn it on. After that, I was able to interact with the game. I do have to turn Direct Touch on each time I enter Crafting Kingdom, which can be multiple times per day, but it works fine after I turn it on. It can be tedious but is not a big deal.
