I never could understand the fascination with that absolutely dreadful
Alex voice; if I had a reader who gasped and breathed in that fashion,
I'd take them to a service station and even pay for the required air.
The original IPhone voice does perfectly fine when using Kindle, and
with no gasping or silly panting, YIKES!

I was gifted an eBook that someone really wants me to read. It’s
an Amazon Kindle book. I seem to remember JAWS not doing well with
such books a while back, but I don’t know if it has improved. What
about on the iPhone? Is that any better?
