My experience is that the sending isn’t quite “immediate.” But the reading does get there if you give it a minute or two.
As for the readings, when you first open the app you will find settings at the top of the screen. Swipe once and you’ll see family members. Swipe again and you’ll see blah blah new measurements. Mine says 36 but your mileage will obviously vary. Double tap it and you will be taken to a screen that lists all your temperature measurements with the latest at the top. They are identified by date and maybe time though I can’t remember exactly. I haven’t found a way to delete old measurements though admittedly since the most recent is at the top of the list I haven’t tried that hard. Also be aware that the readings, at least in my experience, is around a point lower than it is with a standard under-the-tongue thermometer. So if my temp reads as 96.9 I figure I am about 97.9.
