Hi, I just tried it, and what it is doing is just losing focus of the result.
It starts to read the result, or quickly reads the result, then voice over focus jumps back to the heading of the app. If you swipe one time right, then swipe back one time, then you should be on the result and it should read it to you. Typically, it should not be losing focus. This has happened in the past, and they have fixed it. You just have to let them know of the issue. Hope this helps.
