This may all be well and good if you are in a larger city where you have all
these services, couriers and so on, where I live in northern British Columbia
almost all Amazon orders come by Canada Post and they are delivered to the post
office because while I am in a town with a population of about 6,000 there is
no door-to-door mail delivery, everybody has a post office box and has to get
their mail there.
if I want to return something I process the return on the Amazon website, print
out the label, pack the item, put the label on the box and drop it off at the
post office.
