You would go into sounds under settings and there are groupings like ring tones you want to apply for a person or a certain one you like when texts come in. I go through the sounds and double tap on the sound and it highlights the sound and plays and find the "done button then back out of sounds and settings. I hope this helps. Once before, I lost the sounds I had chosen for text and email on my iPhone. I have two questions which will be quite elementary for all of you. How do I choose sounds for individual notifications like email or texts? If I lose them as I have, how do I get them back? Include all steps. I am not a genius with technology and especially not with this phone so won't be hurt if you make the answer very simple. I am going to be working with a friend to improve my knowledge of this phone and get rid of my feeling it's something others can accomplish but I cannot. I'm going to take me out to my own woodshed.
