Has the audio quality always been bad for audio messages sent via iMessage? I’ve been experiencing difficulty with dictation accuracy. I did a little experimenting, discovered my dictation dramatically improves when I use ear buds. Then I recorded an audio message just to check the difference. Without ear buds, the audio quality sounds muddy, which leads me to believe this could be the issue with dictation accuracy. I realize the audio quality is kept minimal to save people data charges, but I guess I don’t remember this being an issue with my 6S. I’m only noticing it with my new SE 2020. Thanks for any information.
